This warranty policy ensures that manufacturing defects in critical components are addressed while also outlining exclusions to clarify what falls outside the scope of coverage & service center responsibility.
Warranty Policy for the Rubik Safe Box
This warranty policy section covers manufacturing defects in safe boxes, vaults, cash boxes, cash registers and piggy banks. It does not cover damages caused by mishandling, misuse, or external factors not related to manufacturing. Accessories mentioned are not covered under this warranty but are available for purchase separately subject to availability. Warranty Period
Standard warranty is One Year from the date of purchase unless otherwise specified. Extended warranty options are available subject to additional cost.
Warranty Prerequisite (Invoice Required)
To claim the warranty, it is mandatory to provide the order invoice or order reference incase of online order. The warranty period is strictly applicable from the date of purchase mentioned in the invoice. Failure to submit the invoice or order reference will result in the service center rejecting any warranty claims, regardless of circumstances.
It is mandatory to provide the safe box with all keys for servicing and warranty claims. The service center will not accept the safe box if it is dropped off or shipped without the keys. Without the keys, warranty and service requests cannot be entertained.
Warranty Coverage:
- Electronic Panel: Our warranty covers manufacturing defects related to the electronic panel, ensuring that it functions correctly.
- Biometric Panel: If there are any issues with the biometric panel's functionality due to manufacturing defects, it falls under our warranty coverage.
- Facial Recognition Camera: The warranty extends to manufacturing defects in the facial recognition camera, ensuring its proper operation.
- Combination Number Lock: Any defects in the combination number lock that stem from manufacturing issues are covered by our warranty.
Not Covered:
- Lost or Broken Keys: Damage or loss of keys, whether through wear and tear or mishandling and if keys are lost inside or kept inside the safe are not covered under the warranty.
- Leaked Batteries: Any issues related to battery leakage or damage caused by batteries are not covered.
- Physical Damage: This includes any damage caused by accidents, misuse, or external forces that affect the structural integrity or appearance of the safe box, vault, or cash box.
- Paint Damage: The warranty excludes damages to the paint finish, such as scratches, peeling, or discoloration.
- Internal Components: Damage or wear to internal components like shelves and lining are not covered under the warranty.
- Accessories: Accessories such as external battery packs, alkaline batteries, and expansion bolts are not covered but can be purchased separately.
Accessories Not Covered (Sold Separately):
- External Battery Packs: While available for purchase, external battery packs are not covered under the warranty unless specifically mentioned for applicable models.
- Alkaline Batteries: Similarly, alkaline batteries used in the safe box, vault, or cash box are not covered under the warranty.
- Expansion Bolts: These accessories, essential for installation in certain cases, are not included in the warranty coverage.
Warranty Terms for Safe Box:
- For warranty claims, customers must visit the service center to drop off the unit. Pick and drop services are not covered under the warranty.
- If customers require pickup/drop services, the service center will provide a separate quote based on the model, size, and weight of the safe.
- If a safe box is fixed on the wall, floor, or cabinet, customers must dismantle it at their own cost before sending it for warranty or service.
- The service center may take 2-7 business days to inspect the unit. For repairs or replacements (where applicable), the service center is responsible for resolving the issue within 15 days. However, if parts or models are unavailable, it may take up to 40 business days to provide a solution.
- Units that are 2 years or older, have discontinued models, or lack available parts may be rejected for service claims at the discretion of the service center, regardless.
Warranty Void
List of conditions that can void the warranty:
- Physical damage anywhere on the safe box.
- Any type of liquid damage.
- Leaked batteries.
- Overvoltage burn.
- Lost or forgotten keys.
- Tampering with locks or electronic panels.
- Any type of alteration to the safe box.
- Unauthorized repairs or DIY repair attempts.
- Mishandling of the unit.
- Using the wrong keys or incorrect method for opening.
- Using different types of keys.
- Using wrong keys in the wrong key cylinder.
